Causas del uso excesivo de la IA en la educación superior, análisis desde una perspectiva académica y pedagógica

La expansión de la inteligencia artificial generativa ha transformado las prácticas de estudio, escritura, búsqueda de información y evaluación en la educación superior, al mismo tiempo que ha intensificado la preocupación por la sustitución de procesos cognitivos y la dependencia tecnológica. El objetivo fue identificar y sintetizar las principales causas asociadas al uso excesivo de inteligencia artificial generativa entre estudiantes universitarios desde una perspectiva académica y pedagógica. Se desarrolló una revisión sistemática con síntesis narrativa, orientada por PRISMA 2020, mediante literatura publicada entre enero de 2023 y agosto de 2026 y un corpus analítico de 19 documentos temáticos verificados. Los hallazgos muestran una interacción entre utilidad y facilidad percibidas, presión académica, ahorro de tiempo, hábito, autonomía, influencia social, escasa orientación institucional y diseños de evaluación susceptibles de delegación cognitiva. La evidencia sobre pensamiento crítico es heterogénea y no permite atribuir deterioro cognitivo inevitable a la tecnología. Se concluye que el uso excesivo responde a un fenómeno multifactorial, cuya prevención requiere alfabetización en IA, autorregulación, políticas claras y evaluaciones centradas en razonamiento, proceso y argumentación.
